When a one-off clean is the right choice
Not every household needs a regular schedule. A defined visit can provide support before guests arrive, after a busy family period, ahead of an important event or when the usual household routine has temporarily changed.
The service can cover the whole agreed home or concentrate on high-priority rooms. What matters is that the requested result is realistic for the property and preparation available.

One-off cleaning or deep cleaning?
A one-off clean describes frequency: a single booked service. A deep clean describes the level of detail. A one-off visit can be detailed, but it does not automatically include every edge, appliance interior or accumulated task in the property.
During consultation, we decide whether the brief is a focused one-off clean, a full deep clean or another specialist service. Using the correct service name makes the quotation and expected finish much clearer.

Choose the result that matters most
If there is a fixed deadline, we start with the rooms guests or household members will actually use. The plan can then add secondary details in a sensible order rather than promising an unrealistic whole-house transformation.

A fixed scope for a single visit
We quote the included areas and agreed finish in advance. This avoids the uncertainty of asking an unfamiliar cleaner to 'do as much as possible' within a purchased number of hours.
If the property condition differs materially from the enquiry, we pause and discuss whether priorities should change or further work is needed. Additions are never treated as automatically unlimited because the booking is one-off.

If you decide you would like regular care
A successful one-off visit can lead to a conversation about weekly or fortnightly Private Home Care, but recurring availability is not automatic. We still assess route capacity and whether an Initial Home Reset or revised plan is needed.
There is no obligation to continue. The one-off service stands on its own and should deliver the result agreed for that visit.

01Can I book a one-off cleaner for a party or family visit?+
Yes, subject to availability. Contact us early with the date, priority rooms and whether you need cleaning before or after the occasion.
02Can I book only a kitchen and bathrooms?+
A focused room group can be considered if it meets the service minimum and the requested detail is realistic. The fixed quotation will list exactly what is included.
03Does a one-off clean include windows?+
Accessible interior glazing can be considered when itemised. Exterior, high or specialist window cleaning is not assumed within a home clean.
04How far ahead should I enquire?+
As early as possible, especially for a fixed event date or larger property. OCG keeps limited capacity and cannot guarantee short-notice availability.
05Can I give the cleaner extra jobs on the day?+
Please direct changes through OCG. A small substitution may be possible, but additional work must be assessed against the agreed scope, safe method and visit plan.
