Consistent care, every week
Weekly Home Cleaning in Oxford
Weekly cleaning gives an actively used home a dependable rhythm. OCG plans each visit around the household's recurring priorities, helping kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces remain consistently cared for without waiting for work to accumulate.

01
Why weekly care feels different
Seven days is often the right interval for busy family homes, properties with several bathrooms, households that entertain or clients who simply prefer the home to remain close to its agreed standard throughout the month.
Because less has accumulated between visits, the team can focus on consistent presentation and planned details rather than spending each clean recovering the same heavily used areas. The result is a steadier home and a more predictable service.
02
A weekly visit with clear priorities
The plan identifies what must be addressed every week and which less frequent details should be rotated. It may give particular weight to an entrance, family kitchen, principal bathroom or another part of the home that shapes the client's experience.
- Consistent cleaning of agreed kitchens and bathrooms
- Dusting, vacuuming and appropriate floor care in included rooms
- Presentation of beds or living spaces where specified
- A recorded order of work for calls, school runs, pets or home working
- Rotating detail work only where it is realistic within the agreed visit
03
Beginning from the right baseline
A weekly schedule does not remove the need for a considered first clean. New clients will normally begin with an Initial Home Reset so accumulated edges, fittings and other agreed detail are addressed before maintenance visits begin.
The reset also gives us evidence about the time and method the home genuinely requires. If the proposed weekly scope is too large for a reliable result, we refine it before the arrangement settles into a pattern.
04
A familiar routine, not an inflexible script
We aim to assign the same cleaner or small team, a regular service day and a dependable arrival arrangement. This familiarity helps the household plan and allows the cleaner to recognise when something has changed.
A weekly plan can still accommodate agreed priorities such as a guest room needed for a particular visit. Requests should be made with enough notice, and larger additions may replace another task or require a revised fee rather than being silently added.
05
Protecting continuity
Regular schedules work best when holidays, access changes and cancellations are communicated early. We explain the practical arrangements before service begins and manage any approved team cover through OCG.
If a home no longer needs weekly support, we can review whether fortnightly care is realistic. Equally, if each visit is being consumed by new accumulation, the honest recommendation may be to restore weekly frequency or narrow the scope.
Questions, answered
Useful details before you enquire.
01Is weekly cleaning right for a smaller home?+
It can be. Frequency is shaped by how the home is used, not bedroom count alone. A compact, busy household may benefit more from weekly care than a larger home with fewer occupants.
02Will you come on the same day each week?+
We aim to establish a regular service day and practical arrival window. Any unavoidable schedule change is communicated as early as possible.
03Can weekly cleaning include changing bed linen?+
Bed changes can be considered when agreed in advance, clean linen is available and the task fits the written scope. More extensive linen or laundry work may be better suited to Private Housekeeping.
04What happens if I am away?+
Tell us as early as possible. Depending on the agreed arrangements, the visit may proceed with authorised access, be adapted or be handled under the cancellation terms confirmed at the start.
05Can I move from weekly to fortnightly cleaning?+
Yes, subject to a review. The scope, visit fee and rotating priorities may need to change because more work accumulates over fourteen days.
06Are you insured?+
Yes. Oxford Cleaning Group holds £5 million public liability insurance and £10 million employer's liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.
07How many cleaners will come, and when?+
A team sized to the home and the deadline: a single familiar cleaner for a smaller home, a larger family team for big houses, renovation cleans and same-day turnarounds. Visits are at an agreed slot and kept to the same day and time wherever possible, and the people you meet stay the same wherever possible.
